Nancy was born in Lansing, Michigan and moved to St. Petersburg, Florida in 1979. Upon arrival, she attended SPJC and was awarded an Associate’s Degree in Paramedics Studies. She worked with Sunstar Ambulance Service as a paramedic and field officer for the next 11 years. After this, she decided to continue her education at SPC (formerly SPJC) by obtaining her AA. Once completed, she transferred to USF where she pursued courses in order to obtain a BS in Biology. She was accepted into the Physician Assistant Program at Nova Southeastern University in 1998. She graduated with a board certification in general medicine as well as surgery.
She began working in Orthopaedics with specialization in spine surgery in June 1998. She worked for Dr. Charles Finn, who was also on call for the Orthopaedic Trauma team at Bayfront Medical Center. She has also worked for several years in Family Practice in Largo, Florida. In 2008, she moved to Ocala where she sought to get back to her passion, Orthopaedic Surgery. She joined Ocala Orthopaedic Care in November 2011.
